The AUDIT2MEASURE project, co-funded by the European Union under its EU-Life Clean Energy Transition sub-programme and supported by CINEA, aims to accelerate the implementation of energy-saving measures (ESM) in industry following energy audits. In this final conference, the AUDIT2MEASURE implementing partners are coming together in Berlin to disseminate and discuss the project’s outcomes and key findings with industry stakeholders, energy efficiency experts and policy makers.
The consortium will present highlights and useful outputs from the project implementation across 6 EU Member States, such as the direct support and capacity building activities provided to industrial companies for the implementation of energy-saving measures (ESM), as well as the AUDIT2MEASURE Knowledge Exchange Space.
Through four thematic workshops, the participants will be invited to confront their experience in the industry and discuss project results with the Audit2Measure consortium, identifying companies’ needs, policy gaps and opportunities for further support measures in the European manufacturing sector. A range of topics from ESM assessments and non-energy benefits (NEBs), to corporate decision-making processes and tools, the role of energy auditors and audit standards, and national monitoring and evaluation systems will be put to discussion.
The conference will conclude with a policy session including key recommendations for the implementation of Article 11 of the Energy Efficiency Directive (EED) in national legislation and a panel discussion on the evolution of European industrial energy efficiency policies.
